Roma's Art Gallery

Imagery conveys what words cannot. Whilst understanding the imagery will give the audience a greater understanding of the artist's intentions, the artist wants the viewer to enjoy the paintings simply for themselves.

Working in a realistic style and using ordinary people as the subject matter for the paintings, the artist represents  the human condition in a variety of guises – yet these are not to be taken at face value – every picture has a deeper story to tell.

Whilst not following any particular artistic school, the artist has been deeply inspired by the great masters like Caravaggio, Zurbaran, Diego de Velazquez and Jan Van Eyck.  Above all, the artist wishes to create something innately unique which encourages – in the busy world in which we live – a moment for deep reflection.
